Job summary

Hunter Selection is seeking an experienced HSE Advisor to support health, safety and environmental compliance across its operations in Eastleigh, Hampshire. The role focuses on promoting a positive safety culture within a manufacturing and project-driven environment.

The successful candidate will have NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent and a strong understanding of UK health and safety legislation, with proven experience in audits, risk assessments and incident investigations.

Qualifications

• Experience performing risk assessments, audits, inspections and incident investigations.

Responsibilities

A leading engineering business is seeking an experienced HSE Advisor to support health, safety and environmental compliance across its operations. This role will play a key part in promoting a positive safety culture within a manufacturing and project-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day HSE support across operational teams.


• Conduct risk assessments, inspections and audits.


• Deliver site inductions and HSE training.


• Investigate incidents and implement corrective actions.


• Support HSE management systems and compliance activities.


• Monitor performance and identify continuous improvement opportunities.

About You

• Previous HSE experience within engineering, manufacturing, construction or a similar industry.


• NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent qualification.

• Excellent communication, organisation and stakeholder management skills.
