Job summary

Fluor Corp in Dartford is seeking an experienced Health and Safety Advisor on a contract basis to lead on-site safety programs for industrial manufacturing projects.

You will develop site Health and Safety Plan, perform machine safety assessments, and align HSE standards with client and OEM requirements, while leading contractor safety management.

Qualifications

• Site or construction H&S roles on industrial/manufacturing capital projects.
• Experience with machine safety compliance work.
• NEBOSH/OSHA 30 or equivalent qualification.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a site Health and Safety Plan compliant with applicable regulation.
• Run machine/equipment safety compliance activities: gap analysis of existing machine safety documentation, machine risk assessments.
• Harmonise HSE standards across client and OEM requirements, particularly where international equipment vendors bring their own safety documentation.
• Lead contractor and supplier safety management: pre-qualification, onboarding, and ongoing site compliance audits.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a site Health and Safety Plan compliant with applicable regulation

Required Experience & Qualifications

• Site or construction H&S roles on industrial/manufacturing capital projects

• Demonstrated experience with machine safety compliance work

• Formal H&S qualification such as NEBOSH, OSHA 30 (or equivalent), or a recognised occupational H&S degree/certification
