Job Opportunity: HSE Advisor

About the Company

Our client is a leading engineering and maintenance provider supporting customers across the Life Science and CMR industries. They specialize in asset management services throughout all lifecycle phases, enhancing asset efficiency, ensuring high availability, and reducing maintenance costs.

Role Overview

The HSE Advisor will be the on-site focal point for our client's HSE function, ensuring adherence to the HSE Management System and promoting a strong safety culture. Responsibilities include providing support to operational sites, preparing HSE documentation, leading incident investigations, conducting audits and inspections, developing personnel competence, and engaging with client HSE teams and stakeholders. The role also involves monitoring issues, contributing to improvements, and delivering high standards of health, safety, and environmental performance.

Routine Duties
  • Participate in risk assessments
  • Ensure compliance with COSHH regulations
  • Support emergency response planning
  • Conduct regular HSE inspections
  • Deliver training and monitor HSE performance indicators
  • Assist in developing and promoting the HSE culture
  • Contribute to the 'Safety Works' program
Required Experience and Qualifications

Experience in auditing/inspection, incident management, HSE legislation, CDM regulations, management system standards, coaching/training skills, and the industrial services sector is essential. The minimum qualifications include NEBOSH General Certificate and membership of IOSH (Tech/Graduate Status).
