Are you a Plant Operative with experience in the production of Concrete, Readymix, or Asphalt and eager for your next role? Then please read on!

We are currently recruiting for a Plant Operative to join the Readymix ‘RMX’ team working on one of Europe’s largest infrastructure projects.

Safety and operational standards are fundamental, with key responsibilities including cost control, people management, customer delivery, and performance improvement.

Main Responsibilities

The Plant Operative will work within the RMX operations on our plant, ensuring compliance with business policies, procedures, and legislative requirements.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities (not exhaustive):

• Delivery of toolbox talks
• Manage daily production, operational costs, and stock control
• Efficient manufacture of concrete, controlling standard deviation and cement contents
• Timely resolution of queries
• Maintain safety for yourself, colleagues, and business partners
• Maintain high standards of site housekeeping
• Batch concrete to meet customer needs and internal quality standards

Key Stakeholders

You will liaise with:

• Business Manager, Area Director, Health & Safety team, Procurement, Support teams, Logistics, Operations, Commercial, HR, Industry Bodies, Customers

We welcome applications from candidates with experience in similar 'heavy' industries, as product training will be provided.

This is a DAYS role with flexibility, as operations include nights and weekends to meet production needs. Overtime is available.

The successful Plant Operative will have experience and knowledge of:
