Job Description:

Next Ventures is seeking an experienced senior HRIS Programme Manager for a long-term contract position with our client in Scotland.

Start Date: ASAP

Location: Scotland

Duration: 12 months + extension

Rate: INSIDE IR35

Description:

• Programme Leadership & Strategy: Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of large-scale HRIS programmes, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
• Develop and manage programme plans covering scope, schedule, budget, resources, and risks.
• Align HRIS initiatives with HR strategy and business objectives, translating goals into project plans.
• System Implementation & Optimization: Oversee implementation, configuration, and integration of HRIS modules (e.g., Core HR, Payroll, Talent Management, Benefits, Time Tracking) within Workday, Oracle Cloud HCM, or SAP SuccessFactors.
• Drive process re-engineering to improve efficiency, data accuracy, and user experience.
• Ensure effective testing, data migration, and cutover strategies.
• Stakeholder Management & Communication: Serve as main contact for programme communications, providing updates to leadership, HR, IT, and stakeholders.
• Build relationships with teams, vendors, and partners.
• Facilitate workshops, gather requirements, and manage expectations.
• Vendor Management & Team Leadership: Manage vendor relationships, including selection, contracts, performance, and deliverables.
• Lead project teams, fostering collaboration and high performance.
• Establish programme governance, including change control and issue resolution.
• Risk Management & Quality Assurance: Identify and mitigate risks, and ensure quality of HRIS solutions.

Required Experience & Qualifications:

• 8+ years experience in HRIS programme or project management, especially large-scale implementations.
• Hands-on experience with Workday HCM, Oracle Cloud HCM, or SAP SuccessFactors.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lead and motivate teams.
• Vendor management experience, including selection and oversight.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Project management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in HR, IT, Business, or related field.
