Next Ventures is seeking an experienced senior HRIS Programme Manager for a long-term contract position with our client in Scotland.

Description:
- Programme Leadership & Strategy: Lead the end-to-end planning, execution, and delivery of large-scale HRIS programmes, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
- Develop and manage comprehensive programme plans, including scope, schedule, budget, resources, and risk management strategies.
- Align HRIS initiatives with overall HR strategy and business objectives, translating strategic goals into actionable project plans.
- System Implementation & Optimization: Oversee the implementation, configuration, and integration of core HRIS modules (e.g., Core HR, Payroll, Talent Management, Benefits, Time Tracking) within Workday, Oracle Cloud HCM, or SAP SuccessFactors.
- Drive process re-engineering and optimization efforts, leveraging HRIS functionality to improve efficiency, data accuracy, and user experience.
- Ensure robust testing, data migration, and cutover strategies are in place and executed effectively.
- Stakeholder Management & Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for all programme-related communications, providing regular updates to senior leadership, HR, IT, and business stakeholders.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams, external vendors, and consulting partners.
- Facilitate workshops, gather requirements, and manage expectations across diverse stakeholder groups.
- Vendor Management & Team Leadership: Manage all aspects of vendor relationships, including selection, contract negotiation, performance monitoring, and ensuring deliverables meet agreed-upon standards and service level agreements.
- Provide leadership and guidance to project teams, including internal resources and external consultants, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
- Establish and enforce strong programme governance, including change control, issue resolution, and decision-making processes.
- Risk Management & Quality Assurance: Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate programme risks and issues.
- Implement quality assurance processes to ensure the integrity and effectiveness of HRIS solutions.
Required Experience & Qualifications:
- Proven experience (typically 8+ years) in HRIS programme or project management, with a strong focus on large-scale implementations.
- Mandatory hands-on experience with Workday HCM, Oracle Cloud HCM or SAP SuccessFactors
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
- Proven ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams.
- Demonstrated experience in vendor management, including selection, negotiation, and oversight of third-party service providers.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Project management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is highly desirable.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
