Job description

The very large HR division is a service-driven function, working closely with academic faculties, professional services divisions, and senior leadership to support their priorities, opportunities, and challenges. Main Purpose of the Job:
As an HR Business Partner, you will collaborate with key stakeholders to operationalise strategic people objectives and develop innovative people solutions. You will provide timely and proactive support throughout the employment lifecycle, utilising intelligence and insights to drive evidence-based decisions. Your role will involve coaching and partnering with managers, managing succession planning, talent management, and supporting organisational change.

Person Specification:

  1. Experience in handling complex HR issues such as disciplinaries, grievances, and change management.
  2. Knowledge of workforce planning, succession planning, and talent management.
  3. Proven track record in developing and implementing people plans and HR solutions.
  4. Ability to influence at a senior level and communicate effectively.
  5. Resilient and professional in the face of challenges and disagreements.
  6. Comfortable with ambiguity and risk, and able to make impactful decisions.
  7. Collaborative and inclusive, working well with central and local HR teams.
  8. Line management experience.
  9. CIPD or equivalent qualification.
