Job summary

A leading recruitment agency is seeking an experienced HR Business Partner for a hybrid role based in Huntingdon. The candidate will support local managers in executing HR strategies, provide guidance on HR policies, and work collaboratively with the People & Culture team. This role also involves advising on employment law and improving HR processes while building relationships across the UK and Ireland.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years as an HR Business Partner, preferably in manufacturing.
  • Strong knowledge of UK HR policies and employment law.
  • Experience within an international or matrix organization.

Job description

HR Business Partner - Huntingdon

Hybrid role with some travel

With solid roots in the European market, my client has ambitious plans for continued business growth in the UK and is looking for an experienced HR Business Partner to deliver proactive HR support and drive people strategies that enable business success.

This is a standalone role in the UK with the opportunity to work with a collaborative and supportive regional team.

What you'll be doing:
  1. Partnering with local managers to align HR initiatives with business goals.
  2. Leading or supporting key projects in talent development, performance management, and employee engagement.
  3. Advising on employment law, policies, and best practices across the UK & Ireland.
  4. Collaborating with the wider People & Culture team.
  5. Driving continuous improvement in HR processes and supporting local transformation initiatives.
What We're Looking For:
  1. Proven experience (minimum 5 years) as an HR Business Partner, ideally within a manufacturing/production environment.
  2. Experience within an international organization, potentially within a matrix organization.
  3. Strong understanding of UK HR policies & employment law.
  4. Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  5. Experience with organizational change, talent initiatives, or culture-building projects.
  6. Willingness to travel to sites in Ireland to build relationships and increase HR presence.
  7. Knowledge of other European languages is a plus but not essential.
