Job summary

Mistral is seeking a People Tech & Analytics Engineer to build the systems behind People Operations. You will connect HRIS, ATS, payroll, identity and finance tools, and design data layers to support reliable metrics and automation.

You will ship automations using Mistral’s models and APIs, with a focus on reducing manual work and enabling leadership insights across Europe’s largest AI company.

Qualifications

• Experience in data engineering, analytics engineering or HR technology.
• Strong practical SQL and Python skills for building pipelines and transformations.
• Hands-on experience with HR systems (e.g., Ashby) and integrating them with payroll, identity and finance tools via APIs.
• Proven automation experience with tools like n8n, Make, Zapier, Workato or Langdock.
• Experience with data warehousing and modern data stack (Snowflake/BigQuery; dbt) and visualization tools (Metabase/Looker/Tableau/Power BI).
• Collaborative, hands-on achiever who starts from HR needs and builds adaptable foundations.

Responsibilities

• Build, maintain, and troubleshoot integrations and data pipelines across HR systems (HRIS, ATS, payroll, identity and finance).
• Develop and evolve the Metabase dashboards and self-serve reporting for managers and People partners.
• Design, test, and document automated workflows using Mistral's models and APIs with human review where decisions affect people.
• Apply configuration changes across the HR stack and support rollout with clear audit trails.
• Architect end-to-end HR workflows with stakeholders and implement practical data governance.
• Create enablement materials in Notion and provide tier-1 support through a bot.
