We're Hiring – HR & Internal Recruitment Assistant (Maternity Cover)

Daresbury, Warrington | Fixed-Term 9 Months | Full Time | Potential for Permanent Role

BMSI, the UK’s largest independent BMS company, is looking for a HR & Internal Recruitment Assistant to join our team on a 9-month fixed-term contract, providing maternity cover – with the potential for a permanent position for the right candidate.

This is a varied and rewarding opportunity for someone who thrives in a people-focused, fast-paced environment and is looking to build a long-term career in HR.

Full training and shadowing will be provided, so you’ll have the support you need to get up to speed confidently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Onboarding new employees across the business
  • Supporting all aspects of internal recruitment and working closely with hiring managers
  • Managing our recruitment platform, monitoring applications, and scheduling interviews
  • Liaising with external recruitment agencies where required
  • Proactively sourcing potential candidates on LinkedIn
  • General HR administration and employee records management
  • Supporting our marketing partner by gathering staff information for social media content
  • Coordinating the annual appraisal process and employee engagement survey
  • Coordination and organisation of company events

What We’re Looking For:

  • Previous experience in recruitment and/or HR is preferred
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Confident with IT systems including Outlook, Excel, LinkedIn, and recruitment software
  • A proactive attitude with attention to detail
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a passion for working with people

Working Arrangements:

  • This role is based full-time in our Daresbury office, Monday to Friday.
