We're Hiring – HR & Internal Recruitment Assistant (Maternity Cover)

BMSI, the UK’s largest independent BMS company, is looking for a
HR & Internal Recruitment Assistant to join our team on a
9-month fixed-term contract, providing maternity cover – with the potential for a
permanent position for the right candidate.

Full training and shadowing will be provided, so you’ll have the support you need to get up to speed confidently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Onboarding new employees across the business
- Supporting all aspects of internal recruitment and working closely with hiring managers
- Managing our recruitment platform, monitoring applications, and scheduling interviews
- Liaising with external recruitment agencies where required
- Proactively sourcing potential candidates on LinkedIn
- General HR administration and employee records management
- Supporting our marketing partner by gathering staff information for social media content
- Coordinating the annual appraisal process and employee engagement survey
- Coordination and organisation of company events
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous experience in recruitment and/or HR is preferred
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Confident with IT systems including Outlook, Excel, LinkedIn, and recruitment software
- A proactive attitude with attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal skills and a passion for working with people
Working Arrangements:
- This role is based full-time in our Daresbury office, Monday to Friday.
