Job summary

Logisnext UK is seeking an HR Advisor to support managers and employees across the business with practical HR guidance, recruitment activities, and people-focused projects.

The role suits someone who learns quickly, takes ownership, and wants to grow their HR skills within a collaborative, supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in HR Advisor, HR & Recruitment Advisor, HR Coordinator or similar.
• Strong recruitment experience and ability to manage multiple vacancies.
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-line HR support to managers and employees.
• Manage end-to-end recruitment activities from vacancy briefing to onboarding.
• Conduct interviews and coordinate selection processes.
• Manage new starter administration, pre-employment checks and inductions.
• Maintain employee records and reporting through HR systems.
• Support managers with HR queries, policies, procedures and benefits.
• Assist with employee relations matters including meetings notes.
• Prepare employment documents such as contracts and salary letters.
• Support flexible working requests and ER case management.
• Contribute to HR projects and continuous improvement.

Supporting the full employee lifecycle, you'll work closely with managers across the business, providing practical HR advice, managing recruitment activities, and contributing to people-focused projects and continuous improvement initiatives. This role would suit someone who learns quickly, takes ownership, and is looking to develop their HR skills further.

What you’ll be doing

You'll provide first-line HR support to managers and employees while helping to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the HR function. Key responsibilities include:

• Managing end-to-end recruitment activities, from vacancy briefing through to offer and onboarding
• Conducting interviews and coordinating selection processes
• Managing new starter administration, pre-employment checks, right to work verification and inductions
• Maintaining employee records and reporting through Sage HR
• Supporting managers with HR queries, policies, procedures and employee benefits
• Assisting with employee relations matters including note-taking for disciplinary, grievance and capability meetings
• Preparing employment-related documentation including contracts, offer letters, salary increase letters and references
• Supporting flexible working requests and developing knowledge of employee relations case management
• Contributing to HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives across the function.

You’ll likely have:

• Previous experience in a HR Advisor, HR & Recruitment Advisor, HR Coordinator or similar HR role
• Strong recruitment experience and confidence managing multiple vacancies simultaneously
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Experience maintaining HR records with good systems skills
• The ability to balance competing priorities and adapt to changing business needs
• A natural ability to build credibility and positive working relationships.

• Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 per annum dependent on skills and experience
