A global compliance-focused company is seeking a Project Manager - Compliance to oversee workforce compliance initiatives across EMEA. You will manage and implement contingent workforce policies, conduct audits, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure adherence to labor laws. The ideal candidate has over 7 years of project management experience, particularly in HR compliance and workforce governance, and a strong understanding of EMEA labor regulations.

Are you passionate about compliance, workforce governance, and operational efficiency? Join our team as a Project Manager - Compliance, where you will play a pivotal role in managing workforce compliance initiatives across EMEA.

Your first project will focus on contingent workforce compliance, ensuring adherence to local labor laws and company workforce policies. You will oversee workforce policies across multiple EMEA countries, working closely with Legal, HR, Procurement, and Operations teams to ensure consistency, compliance, and efficiency in contingent workforce management.

This is an exciting opportunity to shape and optimize workforce compliance processes in a fast-paced, multinational environment.

What Youll Do
  • Support and equip local teams across EMEA with the right framework, tools, and guidelines to ensure contingent workforce compliance.
  • Influence senior stakeholders to implement standardized workforce policies and processes across 20+ EMEA countries,
  • Conduct compliance audits and risk assessments to ensure adherence across all EMEA regions, identifying gaps and driving remediation to meet regulatory and future public company standards.
  • Collaborate with Legal, HR, Procurement, and Operations to implement compliant workforce strategies.
  • Engage with vendors, contractors, and external partners to optimize workforce classification, contracts, and regulatory processes.
  • Develop scalable frameworks and policies, anticipating changes in EMEA labor laws and proactively adapting business practices.
  • Provide data-driven insights and reports on workforce trends, compliance risks, and process improvements.
  • Champion workforce governance and operational efficiency, embedding a culture of compliance across the region.
About you
  • 7+ years of project management experience in HR compliance, workforce governance, or contingent labor management.
  • Strong understanding of UK, EU, and EMEA labor laws, and contingent workforce regulations.
  • Proven experience managing multi-country compliance frameworks within EMEA.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional projects, working closely with Legal, HR, Procurement, and Operations teams.
  • Analytical mindset, with expertise in data analysis, compliance tracking, and reporting to drive informed decision-making.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
Preferred Experience & Qualifications
  • Experience in workforce governance and HR policy standardization.
  • Project Management Certification (PMP, PRINCE2, Agile) is a plus.
  • Background in HR Operations, employment law compliance, or labor law consultancy.
  • Exposure to fast-paced, multinational environments with contingent workforce responsibilities.
