Job summary

Coastland College is seeking a proactive People Coordinator to join its People Team across Weymouth and Kingston Maurward campuses. You will support employee lifecycle administration, onboarding, learning and development, and workforce reporting in a customer-focused service.

The role is a fixed-term maternity cover for 12 months, or until the substantive post holder returns, whichever is sooner. You will work with the team to deliver a positive employee experience and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Experience in HR/People Services or customer-focused administration.
• Possesses a CIPD qualification.
• Enjoys helping people and delivering excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Act as first point of contact for managers and employees on people matters.
• Support lifecycle processes: changes, probation reviews, fixed-term contracts, leavers.
• Coordinate onboarding and induction arrangements for new colleagues.
• Assist with learning and development activities and workforce development programmes.
• Maintain accurate employee records in iTrent and other systems.
• Support reporting, compliance, and audit activities.
