A leading NGO seeks an HR, People and Culture Trainer, fluent in Ukrainian, to support Ukrainian Civil Society Organisations. The expert will facilitate training sessions and provide tailored support, enhancing capacity in the not-for-profit environment. The role is primarily online with a final in-person event in September 2025.

Qualifications

• Fluency in Ukrainian is mandatory.
• Experience in training or consultancy within the not-for-profit sector.
• Understanding of the Ukrainian civil society landscape.

Job description

HR, People and Culture Trainer - Ukrainian speaker

The expert trainer will be managing the HR working group, which is made of Ukrainian Civil Society Organisations interested in learning more about the topic. The group will be entirely on-line, with the exception of a final all-grantee event which will be held in person in September 2025. The working group will meet on a number of times between July and September 2025

Between July and September 2025, the expert consultant will deliver plenary sessions on specific topics, 1-to-1 support to civil society organisations according to their individual needs, working group sessions and WhatsApp group for peer sharing/learning, as well as compiling a virtual library of resources.

Successful candidates will need to be Ukrainians and will have a contextual expertise of the not-for-profit environment in Ukraine.
