Job summary

Hyper Luminal Games LTD in Dundee, Scotland, is seeking an experienced HR/Payroll professional to support our 60+ game developers in a fast-paced, creative environment.

You will manage HR operations, assist payroll, and partner with Heads and Directors, with circa 70% focus on HR and 30% on admin tasks. The role requires strong HR qualifications and compliance know-how, offering career development and a supportive team culture.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of HR experience in a small to mid-sized company.
• Industry-recognised HR qualification.
• Strong knowledge of HR legislation, systems and processes.
• Strong computer admin skills with data processing and online software.
• Experience with Google Suite or Microsoft 365.
• Comfort with numbers, spreadsheets, and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing recruitment, onboarding, and employee relations.
• Supporting performance management and HR policies.
• Payroll administration and ensuring compliance with employment legislation.
• Acting as a trusted partner to leadership to foster a positive studio culture.
