HR Operations Team Leader

Milton Keynes, Hybrid 3 days in the office per week

This is a brand new position due to growth and an opportunity for someone with HR Operations experience to lead a team of 8 supporting approximately 5,000 employees. Ideally, candidates will have a background in financial services or professional services sectors.

The role involves driving best practices, embedding processes, and managing SLAs to support the wider business. It offers a chance to significantly impact the organization and grow alongside the business.

DUTIES

• Lead the newly created HR Operations team, ensuring first-class service to all employees.
• Manage the team providing first-line support for employee questions, queries, and advice, offering direction, support, and coaching as needed.
• Collaborate with HRIS and analytics teams to embed and utilize Workday for efficient processes across the employee group and wider business.
• Lead and manage projects to ensure smooth process integration, identify areas for improvement, and review operations continually.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Experience in HR Operations, Shared Services, or Centre of Excellence.
• Team leadership or management experience required.
• Strong user experience with Workday preferred.
• Experience in the Insurance or similar regulated Financial Services sectors is highly desirable, but candidates from other sectors are also considered.
• Availability to work in the office 3 days a week in Milton Keynes.
