Job summary

TikTok is seeking an HR Operations Intern to join our team in London. The role offers hands-on experience across the employee lifecycle, local compliance, and process improvements while supporting a dynamic global tech environment.

You will gain exposure to UK & Ireland employment practices, vendor management, and employee relations, contributing to a positive candidate and employee experience within a fast-growing company.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Master’s in HR/People Operations or related discipline.
• Good knowledge of UK & Ireland employment legislation/compliance laws and market practices.
• Experience with employee lifecycle (onboarding, transfers, performance cycles, leaves of absence and off-boarding).
• Analytical and problem-solving skills.
• High level of discretion, confidentiality and ethics.
• Humility, flexibility and strong interpersonal & customer-facing skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure legal compliance by managing local HR requirements for the local market in Ireland, with potential extension to other European countries.
• Be responsible for vendor management to improve operation, service quality, efficiency and experience (e.g. benefits vendors).
• Commitment to building harmonious employee relations.
• First point of contact for employee queries; provide end-to-end HR solutions to improve employee experience.
• Design and recommend enhancements and simplifications of HR processes and procedures.
• Support life cycle processes: onboarding, termination, data changes, internal transfers, leaves and benefits operations with proper documentation.
• Support relocation, immigration and staffing administration responsibilities.

The HR operations team, endeavours to continuously build and deliver a seamless and positive employee experience across the whole employee lifecycle. Responsibilities

• Ensure legal compliance by managing and implementing applicable human resource local requirements for the local market in Ireland, with the potential of extended remit to additional countries within Europe.
• Be responsible for vendor management to improve operation and service quality, efficiency and experience (e.g. benefits vendors).

• Support employee life cycle management processes such as on-boarding management, termination, personal data changes, internal transfers , leave management & benefit operations including relevant documentation and employee file management in accordance to local legislation.
