The bit about the role

As an HR Ops Advisor, you'll be the expert on HRIS (HiBob), HR processes, policies, and employee experience. You'll collaborate with HR Business Partners, managers, and employees to ensure efficient HR operations, maintaining high standards of service and compliance. This is a fixed-term role for 6 months with the potential to become permanent.

Responsibilities include:

  • Being the first point of contact for HR queries, offering advice on policies and best practices.
  • Managing onboarding, probation reviews, changes, and offboarding processes.
  • Overseeing compliance for consultants and temporary staff, including IR35 regulations.
  • Managing employee engagement and other HR surveys.
  • Serving as the expert in HiBob HRIS, currently being implemented.
  • Maintaining accurate employee records and ensuring data integrity.
  • Generating HR reports and metrics for decision-making.
  • Contributing to HR process improvements.
  • Supporting lifecycle activities like salary reviews and bonus schemes.
  • Assisting with HR projects and initiatives.

Skills required:

  • Experience in HR advisory or operations, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices, including IR35.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Organised with attention to detail and proactive problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with HRIS systems like HiBob is desirable.
