Job summary

Camden School in Camden is seeking an enthusiastic HR Officer to join its professional support team on a full-time, permanent basis from October 2026.

The role involves supporting the delivery of the HR service, maintaining employee records, coordinating recruitment, and ensuring compliance across HR processes. You will work closely with senior leaders to foster a positive, people-focused working environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in a busy HR or people-focused role.
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Experience with recruitment, compliance and HR administration.
• Experience in education is advantageous but not required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate recruitment campaigns and arrange interviews.
• Handle safer recruitment and pre-employment checks.
• Prepare contracts, offer letters and employment documents.
• Maintain the Single Central Record and HR database.
• Support onboarding, probation and induction processes.
• Assist with employee lifecycle administration including amendments and leavers.
• Provide day-to-day HR support to managers and staff.
• Ensure HR policies and procedures are applied consistently.
