Job summary

Henlee Resourcing & Consulting Ltd is partnering with a respected charity in Swindon to recruit their first permanent People Manager. This is a hands-on, office-based HR generalist role with responsibility for shaping people initiatives and leading a small team, offering up to £41,500 DOE plus benefits.

You will work closely with senior leaders, deliver strategic HR and OD support across a multi-site organisation, and help drive culture change while ensuring compliance with UK employment law.

Working closely with senior leaders, you'll provide strategic and hands‑on HR and OD support across a multi‑site organisation, helping to shape the people agenda and support organisational and cultural change.

You’ll act as a 'true' business partner to senior leaders and play a key role in delivering HR projects - turning strategy into action and providing pragmatic advice and challenge.

We're looking for an experienced HR professional with a strong generalist background, ideally gained within a multi-site SME organisation. You’ll have experience of leading teams and managing organisational change, together with a strong understanding of UK employment law.

You’ll be commercial and operational, confident working at pace and comfortable rolling your sleeves up when needed. Strong influencing, communication and stakeholder management skills are essential, as is a genuine desire to make a positive difference within a values‑led organisation.
