About the Role

3E is growing, and with the recent acquisition of the Yordas Group, we have an exciting opportunity to shape how our UK teams come together and work as part of a broader global organization. We’re looking for an experienced HR Manager who can play a key role in integration today while helping build the strong, scalable HR practices that will support our teams well beyond the transition.

As a trusted, hands‑on partner to employees and leaders, you’ll help people navigate change while ensuring day‑to‑day HR operations run effectively. Looking beyond the integration, you’ll work closely with colleagues across our global HR organization to strengthen people practices, improve processes and systems, and contribute to regional and global initiatives as the role evolves.

This role requires a regular presence in our Lancaster office, with a minimum of three days onsite each week. Being close to the teams you support will help you build strong relationships, understand the local organization and culture, and provide responsive, effective HR support.

If you enjoy building relationships, improving how things work, and helping people navigate change, this is an opportunity to make a meaningful contribution during an important transition and help shape the future of HR operations at 3E.

What You’ll Do
  • Serve as a trusted HR advisor to UK employees, managers, and leaders on employee relations, performance management, absence, grievances, disciplinary matters, and workplace investigations.
  • Help employees and managers navigate organizational changes, including integration activities, new HR processes, benefits changes, communications, and culture initiatives.
  • Manage complex employee relations matters with appropriate judgment, documentation, and alignment with UK employment law and company policies.
  • Oversee key HR operations across the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, offboarding, employee changes, leave administration, benefits, and employee records.
  • Serve as a UK subject matter resource for payroll-related legislation and statutory requirements, partnering with Finance, the regional HR team, and external payroll providers.
  • Manage regional HR and benefits vendors, resolving issues and helping ensure employees receive responsive, high-quality support.
  • Maintain and improve HR policies, procedures, employee resources, and documentation in line with employment legislation and business needs.
  • Monitor changes in employment legislation and help ensure HR practices remain compliant.
  • Maintain accurate HRIS data and employee records and support HR reporting and analysis.
  • Partner with Legal, Finance, Talent Acquisition, local leadership, and regional HR colleagues on employment, compliance, recruitment, payroll, and people initiatives.
  • Identify opportunities to simplify and improve HR processes, systems, and workflows.
  • Create and maintain SOPs and share knowledge across the HR team to strengthen consistency and business continuity.
  • Contribute to regional and global HR projects as the organization continues to grow and evolve.
What Makes You a Great Fit
Required

  • Significant hands‑on employee relations experience, including managing complex or sensitive employee matters.
  • Experience independently managing complex HR processes with strong attention to accuracy and compliance.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, including experience advising and supporting managers.
  • Comfortable working in a global, matrixed environment and collaborating with colleagues across functions and geographies.
