YuMe (a Maxx Group Company), based in our London office, seeks an experienced HR Manager to lead the full spectrum of HR activities across our global organization, partnering with senior leadership and managing HR operations for London and the Americas.

The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of UK employment law, extensive recruitment experience across regions, and proven ability to drive HR initiatives, payroll, and HRIS.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR/Business Administration with CIPD Level 5 or 7 preferred.
  • 7–10 years HR experience, including HR Manager or HRBP.
  • Strong knowledge of UK employment law; familiarity with North/South America practices.
  • Proven end-to-end recruitment across regions and levels.
  • Excellent communication, organisation and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with HRIS, ATS and payroll systems; proficient in MS Office.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team; stakeholder management.
  • Experience supporting multinational organisations across EMEA, North/South America, APAC is advantageous.

Responsibilities

  • Lead full employee lifecycle: onboarding, performance, engagement, development, grievances, discipline, and offboarding.
  • Develop and implement HR policies aligned with business goals and laws.
  • Partner with senior leaders on organisational design, employee relations, change management.
  • Lead end-to-end recruitment for London and Americas; workforce planning, sourcing, interviewing, offers, onboarding.
  • Oversee payroll and benefits administration; ensure compliance and timely salary payments.
  • Support compensation, benchmarking and reward programs with management.
  • Act as primary HR contact for London and Americas teams.
  • Own HRIS and payroll systems; ensure data integrity and reporting.
  • Organise staff events and coordinate travel.
  • Mentor and develop HR team members in Hong Kong; provide guidance and support.
  • Manage relationships with HR vendors, payroll providers and benefits partners.

Job Description
  • Lead and manage the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding, performance management, employee engagement, talent development, grievances, discipline, and offboarding.
  • Develop, review and implement HR policies, procedures, and best practices that align with business objectives and local employment legislation.
  • Partner with senior leaders to provide strategic HR guidance on organisational design, employee relations, and change management initiatives.
  • Lead end-to-end recruitment activities for London and North & South America, including workforce planning, job posting, sourcing, interviewing, offer management, and onboarding coordination.
  • Oversee global payroll and benefits administration, ensuring accurate and timely salary payment, and compliance with the relevant regulations.
  • Support compensation and benefits reviews, benchmarking, and reward programmes in collaboration with management and senior leadership.
  • Act as the primary HR point of contact for employees and managers across the London and North & South America offices.
  • Own and manage the Human Resources Information System (HRIS) and payroll systems, ensuring data integrity, system enhancement, reporting accuracy, and process automation in the alignment with business needs.
  • Organise staff activities and events for employee engagement and coordinate travel arrangements.
  • Manage, mentor, and develop HR team member based in Hong Kong office, providing guidance, coaching, and ongoing support to enhance capability and performance.
  • Manage relationships with external HR vendors, payroll providers, benefits partners and HR software vendor.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline, with CIPD Level 5 or Level 7 qualification preferred.
  • Minimum 7-10 years of progressive HR experience, including experience in an HR Manager or HR Business Partner capacity.
  • Strong knowledge of UK employment law and practical understanding of North & South American HR practices and employment regulations.
  • Proven experience managing full-cycle recruitment across multiple regions and job functions and levels.
  • Exceptional communication, organisational and problem-solving skills.
  • Solid experience in using HRIS, ATS and Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent time and project management skills.
  • Able to work efficiently as a part of a team as well as independently.
  • Experience supporting fast-growing multinational organisations across EMEA, North & South America, and APAC regions is advantageous.
