Job summary

Primis in the UK is seeking an experienced HR Generalist to own the day-to-day HR remit, from admin through to employee relations and project work. You will manage ER cases from start to finish and handle onboarding, contract changes, leavers and HR system updates.

You will advise line managers, support HR projects, and build strong stakeholder relationships within a matrixed organisation while collaborating with the HR Manager and a small HR team.

Qualifications

• Generalist HR experience in corporate or structured environments.
• ER casework experience with knowledge of UK employment law.
• Ability to manage a varied workload with limited direction.
• Willingness to commute to Farnborough 3 days per week; CIPD encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Handle the full generalist remit day to day from HR admin to employee relations and project work.
• Manage ER cases from start to finish (absence, performance, grievances and disciplinaries).
• Handle HR administration across onboarding, contract changes, leavers and HR system updates.
• Advise and coach line managers on policy, process and people issues.
• Support HR projects and change activity as priorities evolve.
• Build strong relationships with stakeholders across a large, matrixed organisation.
• Work closely with the HR Manager and a small, supportive HR team.
