Job summary

Azenta Life Sciences in the UK is seeking an HR Generalist on a 12-month contract to deliver proactive HR support across the Consumables & Instruments business, acting as first point of contact for employees and managers.

You will manage onboarding, employee relations, payroll coordination and HR data in Workday, while partnering with the HR Business Partner on strategic initiatives and ensuring compliance with UK employment law and GDPR.

Qualifications

• CIPD Level 3 qualification or working towards.
• Experience in HR roles with generalist responsibilities.
• Strong knowledge of UK employment law and GDPR.
• Experience with HRIS/Workday and payroll coordination.

Responsibilities

• Manage onboarding and offboarding processes and HR administration.
• Provide first-line advice on HR policies to managers and employees.
• Support recruitment, interviews, and onboarding activities.
• Coordinate payroll changes and liaise with payroll colleagues.
• Maintain HR data in Workday and produce reports and analytics.
• Ensure GDPR compliance and assist audits when required.
