Job summary

Pertemps Black Country Perms is seeking a hands-on HR Generalist to support our manufacturing client in Kingswinford. You will partner with leaders to provide day-to-day HR guidance and ensure UK compliance.

The role offers broad exposure across the business, ownership of HR processes, and opportunities for learning and UK-focused projects in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• CIPD Level 5 qualification will be required.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in a generalist HR role.
• Strong knowledge of UK employment legislation and HR best practices.
• Experience in maintaining HR processes and ensuring compliance.

Responsibilities

• Partner with business leaders to provide day-to-day HR guidance and support.
• Monitor UK employment trends, legislation, and best practices to maintain compliance.
• Manage employee benefits and wellbeing initiatives.
• Support absence management processes and ensure compliance with relevant policies and regulations.
• Maintain and improve HR processes, procedures, and operational practices.
• Lead and coordinate recruitment activities, including managing external recruitment partners.
• Collaborate with HRIS, Health & Safety, and Employee Development teams.
• Participate in UK-focused projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Use data and insights to support HR decision-making and identify opportunities for improvement.

We are very excited to be recruiting a HR Generalist to support our leading manufacturing client based in Kingswinford.

This is an exciting opportunity for an HR professional who enjoys a hands-on, operational role while partnering closely with leaders to support business success.

This position offers significant ownership, broad exposure across the business, and the opportunity to work in a dynamic manufacturing environment alongside talented colleagues and an experienced leadership team. The role provides excellent opportunities for learning, development, and involvement in UK-specific HR initiatives.

What You Will Do

• Partner with business leaders to provide day-to-day HR guidance and support
• Monitor UK employment trends, legislation, and best practices to maintain compliance
• Manage employee benefits and wellbeing initiatives

CIPD Level 5 qualification

This is a full-time onsite position based in Kingswinford, Occasional travel to the Europe to the Head Office, is expected, approximately 3-4 times per year.
