You will play a key role in providing day-to-day HR support, ensuring processes run smoothly and employees receive a professional and efficient service.
The successful candidate will be a strong administrator, highly organised, and comfortable managing a varied workload while maintaining accuracy and confidentiality.
Provide day-to-day HR administrative support across the employee lifecycle
Maintain accurate employee records and update HR systems
Prepare HR documentation including contracts, letters, and employee correspondence
Support the onboarding process, ensuring a smooth experience for new starters
Coordinate pre-employment checks, including right-to-work checks and references
Respond to employee and manager HR queries, escalating where appropriate
Support absence management administration and maintain accurate records
Assist with probation reviews, employee changes, and leaver processes
Provide accurate information to support payroll processing
Produce HR reports and maintain HR data
Support HR projects, employee engagement initiatives, and process improvements
Ensure HR policies and procedures are followed consistently
We are looking for someone who is organised, approachable, and enjoys working within a busy HR environment. You will have excellent attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to build positive relationships with employees and managers.
You will ideally have:
Previous experience within an HR Administration or HR Coordinator role
Strong administration skills with excellent attention to detail
Experience using HR systems and maintaining employee records
Knowledge of UK HR processes and employment practices
The ability to handle confidential information with professionalism
Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload effectively
A proactive approach with a willingness to learn and develop
A CIPD qualification or working towards one would be desirable but is not essential.
