About the job

An exciting opportunity has arisen within the HR Services team located at Overline House, Southampton. Working as an HR Co-ordinator, you will provide comprehensive HR administrative support to various stakeholders, adhering to people management policies, procedures, collective agreements, regulatory frameworks, and management information requirements.

Successful candidates should demonstrate a positive, proactive, and adaptable approach, with the ability to prioritize a heavy workload. Being a team player and an effective communicator are essential qualities.

Your responsibilities will include working alongside HR Business Partners to arrange formal meetings, prepare hearing documentation, take notes, and update activity trackers and case records. You will also respond to enquiries of varying complexity, providing accurate and timely information.

Minimum requirements include:

  • Experience working in a fast-paced and challenging environment.
  • Previous experience as a HR administrator is advantageous.
  • Flexibility in completing daily volume filing and post logging.
  • Strong time management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail, particularly in producing formal documentation and minute-taking during meetings.
  • Proficiency with IT packages, including Microsoft Office.
  • Qualified or part-qualified in people management or development is a plus.

Location

Overline House overlooks Southampton Central Station, easily accessible by public transport. It is close to West Quay, a hub for shopping and dining, with excellent links to London, coastal areas, and the Isle of Wight.

Working pattern

37 hours per week, Monday to Friday, office hours. Please note this is a 12-month fixed-term contract.
