Position summary / Main purpose of the role:

A broad and varied HRBP role, working as part of the European HR team, supporting UK client groups across two locations.

The role supports all facets of HR including talent acquisition & onboarding, learning & development, employee relations, compensation & benefits, performance management, wellbeing and employee engagement.

  • Close involvement with the business managing both strategic and operational HR activity.
  • Team player supporting HR European team with various projects and driving good HR practice.
  • Partnering, coaching and advising managers on HR practice.
  • Support recruitment & onboarding processes.
  • Ensuring labour legislation compliance which may include policy/ procedure review and updates.
  • Support learning & development activity.
  • Support with employee communications.
  • HR activity related to reorganizations.
  • HR projects support and associated change management.
  • Initiate and process changes on Oracle HCM.
  • Supporting initiatives to improve employee engagement.
  • Create and maintain employee files/records.
  • Liaising with payroll in support of monthly payroll.
  • Benefits work and administration.
  • Communicating with various external partners.

Required Qualifications:

  • Possesses good working knowledge of UK employment laws and market practices.
  • Strong employee relations experience.
  • Strong collaborator who can also work independently.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a Business Partnering role, preferably in an international environment.
  • Good stakeholder management, able to influence and use discretion.
  • Able to work at an operational and strategic level.
  • Confident with MS Office suite.
  • Flexible, meticulous with a strong bias for action.
  • Strong communications and critical thinking skills.
