HR Business Partner (12 month FTC)

Reporting to the Head of HR Business Partnering and working within a global Business Partnering team, you will support the UK business by working closely with business leaders on all HR lifecycle elements, including engagement, org design, mergers and acquisitions, performance management, diversity, equity, inclusion, policy embedding, and employee relations. This role offers the opportunity to own HR matters from influencing business leaders to BAU activities. You will proactively address people challenges and provide HR advice, support, and guidance to management and employees. As a key member of the global HR team, you will contribute to delivering the global HR strategy. Additionally, you will participate in various projects to embed CFC's culture and values.

Responsibilities include:

  • Driving people programs and strategies to enhance CFC’s culture, including performance management, absence management, talent development, employee engagement, and internal communications.
  • Collaborating with HR specialist teams (L&D, Talent Acquisition, Operations) to deliver the global HR strategy.
  • Partnering with business leaders on organizational design and planning.
  • Providing HR advice, guidance, and coaching to managers on discipline, grievances, conduct, performance, and absence cases, seeking specialist support as needed.
  • Using data and metrics to inform decision-making.
  • Managing employee relations within your business area, ensuring legal compliance and HR policy adherence.
  • Promoting best practices aligned with policies and guidelines.
  • Developing people policies and procedures to support managers.
  • Serving as the primary HR contact for your business areas, offering guidance and coaching on HR issues.
  • Supporting talent management activities, including promotions, workforce planning, and remuneration processes.

About you:

  • Extensive experience as an HR Business Partner, with expertise in talent, well-being, DE&I, and influencing senior stakeholders.
  • Strong judgment and employee relations experience within EMEA, with stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to operate effectively within a global matrix structure.
  • Knowledge of employment law, policies, and compliance in a regulated environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Ability to build relationships and work collaboratively across functions.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint).
