Job summary

Kier Group is seeking a HR Business Partner to support the Anglian Water contract, with hybrid working and travel to offices/sites as required. You will partner with the management team to drive culture, people strategy and growth, delivering a customer-focused HR service across the business.

You'll join a high-performing HR function, using data and insights to shape people plans and enable organisational change in a dynamic environment.

Job description

We're looking for a HR Business Partner to join our Anglian Water team.

Location:

Huntingdon/Norwich/Ipswich/Lincoln/Peterborough - Hybrid working available with travel to offices and sites as required

Hours:

37.5 hours per week - some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us.

This is an exciting opportunity to work within a high performing HR team on the Anglian Water Contract, partnering with the management team to drive cultural and organisational change during a period of substantial growth. You'll provide an innovative, effective and customer-focused service whilst delivering the people plan in support of the business strategy and embedding the wider Kier people strategy.

What will you be responsible for?

As a HR Business Partner, You'll Be Working Within The Natural Resources Team, Supporting Them In Delivering An Effective People Strategy. Your Day To Day Will Include

• Championing and influencing the development of a positive, inclusive and high-performing culture
• Partnering with operational and functional leads as a credible and trusted advisor, bringing people expertise to help deliver business strategy
• Leading initiatives that strengthen employee engagement, wellbeing and belonging, using data and insights to drive meaningful action plans
• Managing all employee relations activity and working collaboratively with Group HR functions to provide best practice advice
• Working with the Talent Acquisition function to develop workforce hiring strategies and supporting emerging talent career programmes

• You're degree qualified (or qualified by experience) with demonstrable experience of business partnering in medium or large organisations
• You have strong employee engagement and employee relations skills with up to date knowledge of employment legislation

• You're able to build influential relationships with senior stakeholders and have strong commercial awareness
• You're delivery focused and pragmatic, able to flex solutions and approach to diverse audiences and business needs
