HR Business Partner - Permanent - Belfast

MCS Group is delighted to be exclusively partnering with a growing organisation, as they look to add an HR Business Partner to their team, on a full-time, permanent basis.

The role:

You will play a key role in developing a high-performing, engaged, and satisfied workforce that aligns with the strategic goals of the organisation. You will oversee all HR functions.

It would be advantageous that the successful candidate have both ROI and NI legislation experience.

The main responsibilities:

  • Foster strong and collaborative partnerships with the site leadership team and HR and training teams across the company.
  • Develop and execute effective recruitment strategies to attract top talent that aligns with the organisation's cultural and operational needs.
  • Implement retention strategies that reduce turnover rates and enhance employee satisfaction, including competitive compensation packages, career planning, and advancement opportunities.
  • Create and oversee employee assistance programs and wellness initiatives.
  • Identify training needs across the organisation and develop learning and development programs.
  • Design and implement a performance management system.
  • Mediate and resolve employee conflicts and grievances in a timely and effective manner, promoting a positive work environment.
  • Monitor engagement levels and initiate programs to improve employee experience.

Undertake any other duties as considered by the company to be within the scope of the role of the site HR Business Partner.

The ideal candidate:

  • 3rd level qualification in HR or related discipline.
  • CIPD level 5 qualification or above.
  • Proven experience leading an HR function in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in development of a HR function.
  • ROI legislation experience (desirable).
