Job summary

The Talent World, on behalf of HR Recruit, is seeking an experienced HR Business Partner for a newly created role in Milton Keynes. You will report to the Head of HR, oversee 10 sites, and manage one direct report in a hybrid role with Midlands travel.

Key duties include daily HR advisory, training delivery, payroll and salary benchmarking, and partnering with line managers to improve people performance. A car allowance and discretionary bonus complement excellent benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years experience in a HR advisory role.
• Able to use own initiative and be a self-starter.
• Experience delivering HR outcomes independently with support for complex cases.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day advice on HR matters including employee relations and performance management.
• Deliver training updates to Board/Managers/Teams on employment law and disciplinary processes.
• Plan and organise training interventions to develop the team.
• Partner with line managers to identify opportunities to improve organisational and people performance.
• Utilise reports and data analysis to support decision making.
• Oversee recruitment within the UK and support senior roles in selection and onboarding.
• Conduct salary benchmarking to ensure fair rewards.
• Travel to sites as required and manage multi-site HR initiatives.
• Lead and develop the HR Coordinator team.

HR Recruit are partnering with an expanding industrial organisation who are looking to recruit an experienced HR professional for a newly created role to join the existing HR team. Reporting into the Head of HR and working closely with the Regional Managers, you will be accountable for 10 sites and have 1 direct report. The role will require you to attend Milton Keynes once a week, travel to Midlands based sites twice a week and work from home twice a week.

Role Responsibilities

• Providing day to day advice on HR matters, including employee relations, performance management, employee development and employee engagement
• Providing regular training and updates to Board/Managers/Team Leaders on employment law, supporting disciplinaries, grievances and performance related conversations
• Planning and organising training interventions to bridge training gaps and develop the team
• Partnering with line managers to identify opportunities that will support improvement in both organisational and people performance, and ultimately supporting the overall business objectives
• Utilise reports and data analysis to support decision making
• Oversea the recruitment process within the UK and supporting with selection and onboarding for more senior roles
• Conducting Salary benchmarking to ensure our employees are fairly and competitively rewarded
• Allowing time for project work and improving ways of working is essential to support wider HR initiatives
• Be an inspiring people leader, managing the performance and development of the team of HR Coordinator
• Working in a multi-site environment you will be required to travel, mileage expenses will be paid

Person Specification

• A minimum of 5 year’s experience in a HR advisory role
• Able to use own initiative and be a self starter
• Experienced and able to deliver HR outcomes independently, with support from Croner for complex, high-risk cases
• Able to analyse data to inform decision making
• Ability to communicate at all levels, network and build strong partnerships
• Ability to prioritise and manage own workload
• Ability to coach, engage and influence senior managersTraining delivery experience is essential
• Ability to plan and manage projects with confidence
• Experience of managing and motivating others

This role would be ideal for an HR Advisor or Senior HR Advisor looking for their next move or an established HR professional wanting to join an organisation that values its people.

The salary is £45,000-£50,000 plus £6,600 car allowance so (£51,600-£56,600) plus 10% discretionary bonus and excellent benefits. The is also an early finish at 2pm on a Friday.
