Foundation Partners is seeking an HR Operations professional to join its People team in the UK. You will split time between payroll/compliance and employee experience, with responsibilities from onboarding to systems, contractor admin and engagement projects.
The role focuses on delivering accurate payroll inputs for UK operations, maintaining data across HR systems, and supporting a flexible, collaborative team that serves staff across the UK and international offices.
Our client is a mission‑driven international nonprofit that runs large events and conferences worldwide. About half its staff are in the UK and half in the US, Canada and others.
Our client is a mission‑driven international nonprofit that runs large events and conferences worldwide. About half its staff are in the UK and half in the US, Canada and others.
The People team is small and collaborative. Its two current members are US‑based, so this hire will be the team's UK presence, supporting colleagues during UK hours.
You will report to the Head of HR. Around 50–60% of your time goes on HR operations: payroll, systems and compliance. The other 40% goes on employee experience: onboarding, engagement surveys and people projects.
You enjoy the operational side of HR: payroll, compliance, systems and process. You want to build a long‑term career in people operations, perhaps working towards an HR Manager or People Partner role in a few years.
The old model for People & Talent doesn’t work for today's businesses. We've built a better one.
Traditionally, early‑stage Founders had two options: handle People & Talent themselves, losing precious time they should be spending on product or go‑to‑market, or hire a generalist, expected to cover everything from culture to recruitment to performance. We offer a more impactful alternative: A fully flexible, fractional People & Talent team with specialist skillsets and hands‑on delivery, ready to start driving impact for your business in weeks, not months.
