Gwent Police is seeking a part-time Assistant Officer to join the HR Operations team on a fixed-term basis of up to 12 months. The role focuses on inbox management, responding to queries, and supporting HR processes such as sickness and performance while maintaining HR records and systems.
The successful candidate should be comfortable working part-time (18.5 hours) with flexible and hybrid working arrangements where appropriate, and will be supported by a Welsh-speaking policing service.
Please note this is a part time post (18.5 hours) on a fixed term basis of up to 12 months.
We are recruiting for a Part-time Assistant Officer to work for the HR Operations department.
The successful candidate will provide support to the HR Operations department through management of the required inboxes and responding to queries, supporting HR Operations processes such as sickness and performance, aid sickness management by maintaining document management of Gwent Police personnel and HR systems, arranging appointments and the provision of letters.
