A prominent UK university is seeking an HR Assistant (Maternity Cover) based in Coventry. The successful candidate will provide advice and guidance to staff while handling various HR issues. This opportunity will provide exposure to many varied HR issues and bring you into contact with a wide range of people. You will be able to apply your HR knowledge on a daily basis, providing advice and guidance to staff, and also to learn and grow your HR knowledge as you go along. You will have experience of working in a team and experience of working on your own initiative to resolve issues.

The successful applicant must be flexible and able to deal quickly and appropriately to individual situations as they arise, as well as communicate effectively with a wide range of people in a proactive and customer-focused way.
