Great North Air Ambulance Service is seeking an approachable HR Assistant to join our People and Culture team in a full-time role based at Progress House, Eaglescliffe. You will support the entire employee journey with confidential, accurate administration and act as the first point of contact for HR queries.

Full-time – 37.5 Hours/week
You’ll become an important member of our People and Culture team, providing high-quality administrative support across every stage of the employee journey.
From recruitment and onboarding to payroll administration, learning and development and maintaining HR records, you’ll help ensure our people receive an efficient, professional and confidential service.
Working closely with our HR Officers and Head of People and Culture, you’ll be the first point of contact for many day-to-day HR queries, helping colleagues across the charity while contributing to projects that support the continued growth of GNAAS.
We’re looking for someone who is organised, approachable and takes pride in delivering excellent administrative support. You’ll be confident managing sensitive information, communicating with colleagues at all levels and balancing multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
Previous experience in an administrative role is essential, and experience within HR or recruitment would be an advantage. Above all, we’re looking for someone who enjoys supporting others, has a positive attitude and is keen to develop their career within People and Culture.
