In this dynamic post, no two days are the same. You will be responsible for leading on essential recruitment and compliance processes, driving end-to-end onboarding, conducting pre-employment and DBS checks, as well as managing the vital Single Central Record to ensure the highest standards of safeguarding. Beyond recruitment, you will oversee payroll and basic pension administration, as well as accurately tracking staff attendance and arranging Occupational Health referrals to support staff wellbeing.
Crucially, you will serve as the warm, professional face of HR, acting as a first point of contact for staff queries and providing high-level administrative support for key HR meetings.
Whist prior experience in a school setting or experience with school management systems would be a bonus, a critical factor is your ability to handle sensitive matters with absolute confidentiality, as well as a proven track‑record of your ability to communicate warmly and effectively with diverse audiences.
Outwood Grange Academies Trust (OGAT) places staff development at the heart of its strategy to deliver excellence, aiming to recruit, develop, and retain the best staff through the Outwood Institute of Education (OIE).
