We are the highest Ofsted-rated provider in the country for special education and care. Our teams are fulfilled by making even the smallest positive changes in our young people, so we celebrate the little things.

For children with complex needs, the level of care and education we provide must go above and beyond. That’s what drives us here at Witherslack Group. With our high staff-to-child ratio and in-house clinical teams, we’re proud to have a reputation for excellence and market-leading OFSTED ratings.

Get out what you put in

We are looking for a HR Assistant to join our friendly, hardworking, and dedicated team, based at our beautiful location in Lupton. You will support our Children’s Homes, Schools, Clinical Teams, and Group with onboarding new starters and be responsible for day-to-day HR administration and employee records.

You will also handle all administration queries related to your files and work closely with department managers to ensure compliance. Additionally, you will ensure that staff are recruited in line with safer recruitment practices and onboarding, which is crucial for safeguarding our children and young people.

What we do for you

We know you’re going to do great things. For your hard work and commitment, we reward you with the best salary and benefits package in the care sector. With us, you’ll get to make a genuine difference to the lives of our young people – plus you’ll receive:

  • Salary: Base salary of £23,500 - £25,000 depending on experience
  • Holiday: 7 weeks’ holiday
  • Flexible benefits package: including options to adjust holiday allowance, pension, and life insurance
  • Wellbeing: a range of wellbeing tools and employee assistance

We offer you the chance to build an exciting career in a fast-growing organization where you can achieve your potential. Here’s what we need from you:

  • Excellent administration skills and high computer literacy
  • A meticulous, organized approach with a keen eye for accuracy
  • Experience in multi-tasking while maintaining excellent customer service
  • The ability to develop good working relationships with colleagues
Join the UK’s best special education and care provider
