The HR and Payroll Administrator Opportunity:

Join our team to work alongside the Payroll Manager, focusing on payroll input and HR administration. This role suits highly organized, numerate individuals with strong MS Office skills, especially Excel. You will assist in processing payroll for 700+ employees, managing full lifecycle administration of leave types, flexible working requests, and absence management.

Key Responsibilities:

Payroll Administration:
  • End-to-end payroll processing ensuring accuracy and compliance
  • Processing statutory payments and deductions
  • Managing new starters and leavers
  • Handling pay variations, reports, and BACS payments
  • Maintaining secure records and responding to payroll queries
  • Administering pension schemes and ensuring compliance with UK regulations
HR Administration:
  • Maintaining employee records and onboarding documentation
  • Supporting benefits administration and policy management
  • First point of contact for HR & payroll queries
  • Preparing pension contributions and liaising with providers

About you:

  • At least 2 years of relevant HR and Payroll experience
  • Knowledge or certification in UK Payroll (e.g., CIPP)
  • Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, able to meet deadlines
  • Experience with ADP Payroll; SAP SuccessFactors is a plus
