Job summary

Hereford Medical Group is seeking an HR and OD Manager to lead recruitment, onboarding, staff retention and employee relations across four sites. You will shape the people strategy, support learning and organisational development, and work with the senior management team to sustain a positive culture.

• Lead HR activities including recruitment, onboarding, staff retention and employee relations
• Identify learning needs and create training, professional development and career growth opportunities
• Promote staff wellbeing, engagement, inclusion and a supportive working environment
• Lead organisational development initiatives that improve ways of working and support change
• Support managers with performance reviews, coaching and development plans
• Give practical HR advice and guidance to people managers, including workforce planning
• Maintain fair, consistent HR policies and ensure compliance with employment law and healthcare requirements
• Use staff feedback and workforce information to improve the employee experience and service quality

Job description

HR and OD Manager post at Hereford Medical Group, a general practice surgery with around 160 staff across four sites in Hereford. The role leads HR activity from recruitment and retention through to employee relations, and builds learning and organisational development across the practice. It works alongside the senior management team to shape the people strategy and sustain a positive working culture. Fit is judged against the full person specification.
