  • Policy Management: Maintain and update HR policies and ensure all staff are aware of their responsibilities.
  • Data Protection & GDPR: Serve as the school’s Data Protection Officer, ensuring GDPR compliance across the organisation.
  • Compliance & Reporting: Take responsibility for statutory data returns including the School Census and other DfE-required submissions.
  • Collaboration: Work in close partnership with the Principal and provide support to the wider leadership team as needed.
  • Proactive Engagement: Promote a culture of professionalism, safeguarding, and continual improvement through your role in staff development and policy adherence.

You will be:

  • CIPD qualified or with relevant equivalent qualification and HR experience.
  • Experienced in managing HR processes in a school or similar setting.
  • Highly knowledgeable in employment law, GDPR, and safer recruitment practices.
  • Discreet, trustworthy, and able to handle sensitive information with professionalism.
  • Proactive, with excellent organisational and communication skills.
  • Committed to promoting safeguarding and equality in the workplace.
  • Confident in using HR systems and data platforms for returns and reporting.

In return, we can offer:

  • A welcoming friendly community providing an opportunity to work with a fantastic group of children and young people.
  • A supportive working environment with high expectations and standards of teaching & learning.
  • Teaching teams who work collaboratively to share expertise and workload.
  • Excellent supportive staff committed to achieving exceptionally high standards.
  • Opportunities for Continuing Professional Development (CPD) to support career progression.

Benefits:
