Job summary

Morgan Philips Group is seeking an HR Advisor for a fully on-site, five-day-per-week position in Weston-super-Mare. This hands-on generalist role supports managers and employees across the full employee lifecycle, driving engagement and performance in a fast-paced environment.

You will provide expert HR guidance, handle employee relations, assist with recruitment, onboarding, development and offboarding, and contribute to HR projects. Travel to other UK sites may be required.

We're partnering with a well-established and growing international organisation to recruit an experienced HR Advisor to join their HR team in Weston-super-Mare. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to broaden their generalist HR experience while working closely with stakeholders across multiple business areas.

Please note: this role is fully site-based in Weston-super-Mare, five days per week. It is not a hybrid or remote position. Candidates must be comfortable working on-site and travelling to other business locations when required.

The Opportunity

As HR Advisor, you'll play a key role in supporting managers and employees across a broad range of HR activities, helping to drive employee engagement, performance, talent development and organisational effectiveness.

This is a hands-on generalist role with exposure to both operational and project-based HR activity, offering excellent scope for development within a supportive and collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide expert HR advice and guidance to managers on employee relations matters, performance management and people-related challenges.
• Support recruitment activities across a variety of roles, helping to attract and retain high-calibre talent.
• Manage and support key stages of the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, inductions, career development initiatives, employee engagement and offboarding.
• Assist with disciplinary, capability and attendance management processes.
• Support employee engagement, recognition and retention initiatives.
• Ensure HR policies, procedures and documentation remain accurate, compliant and up to date.
• Produce and analyse HR metrics and management information.
• Maintain employee records and HR systems.
• Support business-wide HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Build strong relationships with stakeholders across the organisation.

About You

We're looking for a proactive and engaging HR professional who enjoys being visible within the business and partnering closely with managers.

You’ll ideally have:

• CIPD Level 3, Level 5 or equivalent HR qualification.
• Experience within a generalist HR Advisor or HR Officer role.
• Strong employee relations knowledge and practical experience.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• A proactive, solutions-focused approach.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
• Good reporting and HR systems experience.
• The flexibility to travel occasionally to other UK sites when required.
