Job summary

MidKent College in Maidstone and Gillingham is seeking an HR Advisor to join the People Team. You will deliver advisory and guidance services to managers and staff, handling recruitment and selection, absence management, employee relations, and data reporting to support the organisation's People priorities.

Qualifications

• Provide advisory and guidance on conditions of service and policies for managers and staff.
• Support recruitment and selection, absence management, and employee relations with data reporting.

Responsibilities

• Provide advice, guidance and interpretation of policies across the College.
• Produce and interpret management information reports for managers and People Partners.
• Assist with sickness absence management and liaise with occupational health for referrals.
• Support staff recruitment across the College and participate in interviews as required.
• Support change management processes and contractual issue resolution.
• Process maternity and paternity paperwork and liaise with managers on queries.
• Contribute to the delivery of the People Strategy and related projects.
• Support training on People/L&D processes and shared services during peak periods.
