Job summary

Our Vacancies Ltd. supports Greencore in recruiting an experienced HR Advisor for a 12-month maternity cover at the Warrington site. You will partner with site leaders to deliver practical people solutions that boost performance and shape a positive colleague experience.

You’ll coach managers, handle complex employee relations, drive engagement initiatives and ensure UK employment law compliance across the business unit.

Qualifications

• MCIPD or FCIPD qualification (working towards) or relevant experience.
• Experience as HR Advisor, People Advisor or HR Business Partner.
• Experience in manufacturing, logistics or distribution environments.
• Up-to-date knowledge of UK employment legislation and HR best practice.
• Strong employee relations experience including complex casework.
• Excellent coaching, influencing and communication skills.
• Ability to build trusted relationships with managers at all levels.
• Strong organisational skills with ability to manage competing priorities.
• Good working knowledge of Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Collaborative approach and passion for creating positive colleague experiences.

Responsibilities

• Build strong relationships with site and functional leaders to support business objectives.
• Coach managers on performance, attendance, conduct and wellbeing.
• Lead colleague engagement initiatives—surveys, forums and feedback programmes.
• Manage employee relations cases, ensuring fair, compliant handling.
• Develop relationships with trade unions and colleague representatives for effective consultation.
• Support talent development, succession planning and learning initiatives with Centres of Excellence.
• Support organisational change projects and continuous improvement with people impacts.
• Promote compliance with employment legislation, data protection and company policies.
