Bield is seeking an experienced HR Advisor to provide maternity cover within our Scottish HR team. This fixed-term role concentrates on employee relations, handling absence, disciplinary, grievance and performance matters while guiding managers through processes from start to finish.

You will also contribute to daily HR activity, respond to queries, support recruitment and payroll tasks, and help manage the employee lifecycle.

Competenze

• Experience as HR Advisor with strong employee relations background.
• Confident handling disciplinary, grievance, absence and performance cases.
• Ability to work independently while managing own caseload.
• Capable of balancing employee relations work with broader HR activities.
• Approachable, pragmatic and solution-focused.
• Collaborative team player who shares knowledge and seeks continuous improvement.

• Manage a varied caseload including absence, disciplinary, grievance and performance matters, providing practical, people-focused advice to managers and supporting processes from start to finish.
• Contribute to day-to-day HR activity, respond to queries, support recruitment, payroll processes and general employee lifecycle administration.
• Build relationships quickly and contribute to the team’s workload on a short-term maternity cover.
• Escalate complex matters to the HR Manager when needed.
