DHL Supply Chain at the Sainsbury's NDC in Stoke is seeking an experienced HR Advisor to join the on-site HR Team on a 6-month fixed-term contract. You will manage complex ER cases, advise site management, and use data from absence, conduct and performance to inform decisions.
You will partner with First Line Managers, deliver targeted training, and support wellbeing initiatives while staying up to date with employment law changes that affect HR policies.
Grade: RCS M Contract Type: Fixed Term - 6 months Location: Stoke / Sainsburys - Site based 8am-4pm This is a 6 month fixed term contract starting immediately We're looking for an experienced and enthusiastic HR Advisor to join our small but strong site HR Team. As an HR Advisor, you will be able to work at pace to provide professional and helpful support to our 950 site employees based at DHL Sainsbury's NDC in Stoke, one of the largest and busiest DHL logistics depots in the UKI. As part of the site HR team, our focus is on providing tailored advisory support to the site management team. A key part of the role will involve using your knowledge of employee relations (ER) legislation to lead cases from beginning to resolution. We'll trust that you stay informed on changes to legislation which may impact our HR policies and you'll ensure they are up to date. You'll also have the chance to partner with First Line Managers offering them tailored support on People related matters. This can be via coaching, delivering training modules or general advice. We use data to drive our decisions in the management of absence, conduct and performance. This can come from People related data on our systems, identifying trends or acting upon employee survey feedback. Outside of casework, you'll have the opportunity to take on additional project based work that can help drive our engagement, D&I and wellbeing strategy. Collaboration is at the heart of what we do.
