Job summary

Godolphin Management Co Ltd is seeking an experienced HR Advisor to join our team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This full-time, office-based role is located on the outer skirts of Newmarket.

You will be the first point of contact for managers and employees, handling recruitment, apprenticeships, learning and development, and immigration and visa administration, while ensuring compliance with UK employment law.

Qualifications

• UK employment law knowledge and best practice.
• ER casework, recruitment and onboarding experience.
• Solutions-focused, proactive & collaborative.
• CIPD Level 5 qualification or equivalent (desirable).
• Experience in apprenticeship programmes, L&D and visa sponsorship (desirable).

Responsibilities

• Recruitment – end-to-end recruitment, onboarding and pre-employment checks.
• Apprenticeships – lead programmes, monitor compliance, funding and progress.
• Learning & Development – coordinate learning initiatives, training programmes and development activities.
• Immigration and Visa administration – sponsorships, secondments and visa processes, compliance, monitoring and reporting.
• Employee relations casework – advise managers on disciplinary, capability, absence and conduct; support investigations, hearings and appeals.
