Job summary

The Fractional HR Department provides practical, flexible HR support for small businesses and growing teams, giving them expert people advice without the cost or complexity of a full‑time hire. Based in Sevenoaks with client site visits across London & South East, the role offers hybrid working and a salary of £30,000–£35,000 per year.

What you’ll be doing includes leading ER cases, drafting policies, supporting recruitment and delivering training.

Qualifications

• Solid UK generalist HR experience, ideally supporting SMEs.
• Strong employee relations experience and confidence leading on cases.
• Clear, structured advice even in fast-moving or unclear situations.
• Good commercial judgement for small businesses.
• Hold CIPD Level 3 (or equivalent) and open to Level 5.
• Experience within HR consultancy is welcome.

Responsibilities

• Lead and advise on ER cases with knowledge of employment law and ACAS codes.
• Provide clear, legally sound guidance to clients and colleagues.
• Support recruitment campaigns and benchmarking terms and conditions.
• Draft and maintain policies, templates, and SOPs.
• Deliver training sessions to clients.
• Support the implementation of new processes and systems.
• Collaborate with the HR team to support client success.
