Your new role

Interim assignment, HR Advisor / ER Advisor – up to £170 per day. Duration: until Christmas. This interim assignment will suit an experienced Interim ER Advisor / HR Advisor who can hit the ground running in the provision of hands‑on, operational HR support within an education organisation in Cheltenham. This is a visible, on‑site role. You will be the trusted advisor, delivering practical, day‑to‑day employee relations support to leaders and employees. You will support managers and staff daily, ensuring people's issues are managed effectively and proactively.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Manage employee relations casework, including absence, return to work interviews and probation reviews
• Support short and long‑term absence management, including welfare contact and fit note monitoring
• Provide practical guidance to line managers on day‑to‑day people issues
• Support low‑level case management and informal capability concerns

• Provide clear insight to leadership on staff wellbeing, morale and risk
