Job summary

The Talent Division is partnering with a highly respected, market-leading organisation to recruit an HR Advisor to join their small, dynamic HR team. This genuinely varied generalist role offers exposure to employee relations, recruitment, onboarding, HR administration, and wellbeing across the business.

You will work closely with managers and employees, provide practical HR guidance, support performance and absence management, handle disciplinaries and family leave, contribute to improvements

Qualifications

• CIPD qualification at Level 5 is preferred; Level 3 with experience considered.
• Around two years' experience in HR Advisor or HR Officer role.
• Solid knowledge of UK employment law and practical HR application.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Experience with HR data and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-line HR advice and support to managers and employees across a broad range of HR matters.
• Manage employee relations cases including performance, absence, disciplinaries, grievances, flexible working and family leave.
• Coach managers to confidently handle teams and employee relations matters.
• Keep up to date with employment legislation and apply it commercially.
• Support end-to-end recruitment and onboarding processes.
• Collaborate with recruitment partners to build talent pipelines.
• Oversee onboarding and support the wider employee lifecycle.
• Support performance management, probation reviews, benefits and development activity.
• Contribute to HR projects and wellbeing initiatives.
• Maintain accurate HR records and reports.
